On today’s 5 Spot on Fox 29 News at 5, the women of the newsroom — anchors Dawn Stensland, Kerri-Lee Halkett and traffic anchor Jamie Shupak — dish about their healthy habits.
This is all about a Glamour Magazine poll that polled 1,000 women on hygiene habits. Interestingly, the only Google News result about this story is from Fox 29.
We get to know our news deliverers just a little bit better. And yes, Dawn admits she does not shower every day. Worth the three minutes. I actually kind of wish it was more.

That does need to go on longer. I like Dawn – too bad she’s lost her job at Fox 29.
Dawn is a beautiful lady but even more beautiful in grace and personality. This is a mistake FOX 29. You let my girl Rachel Wulff go too and she is blowing up in Louisiana.
Fox 29 will be losing us since they let Dawn go. She was the “Sunshine of the News”.
Why don’t you just give up and call it the Kerri Lee News!
Good Luck to you, Dawn.. You were the only reason I watched Fox 29 News at 10:00 every night. You have such stamina and ethics, Fox 29 proves again, why its ready to self-destruct..You are the best Anchor on local TV and Fox 29 will see no ratings increase, only the loss of its viewers.
Dawn was refreshing and the read deal. I’ve already written to Fox and let them know I done with them I now watch the CW. Dave Huddleston is there. Maybe the CW will sign Dawn. She will be missed.

Big mistake letting Dawn go. The only reason I watch the Fox 10 news. Not a fan of Kerri Lee or whatever her name is. Sorry you lost another viewer.
We thought Dawn was on leave for a short period of time. We can’t believe she is no longer on the news. We are also finished with the 10 o’clock news. Jay Leno will be back in our life. Dawn knew how to deliver the good and bad news, by reporting it with her caring and compassionate personality. We feel sorry for Fox for making this decision. They will regret it!

I used to like watching Kerri Lee and Dawn anchor together. Both are very real. But if I have to choose I’m going to say Kerri seems brighter and dresses much better. I like watching a fit stylish woman give me the news and my husband has a crush on her. I always say “your girl is on” and he comes running. Fox 29 is a big part of our household. Good luck Dawn! I have been a fan of Dawn since her days at KYW. The only reason I watched that station and Fox 29 was because she was on it. I’ve always
found her to be not only very intriguing, but just a real down to earth person when I first met her taking a walk in the Wissahickon valley. I had recently been away for a while in California because of my job only to come back to philly and not see my favorite girl on the news. Whatever the
reason, Fox tv should have never let her go. If she shows up on another network, I’m afraid that they will end up my new favorite. Dawn if your reading this, I’ll always miss you.
