Turns out that chris-stover.com has never been hotter. I am greatly appreciative.

I’ve decided to pick out some search engine terms people have used to find this humble Web site. Some are humorous. Some are thought-provoking. Others are just plain pointless.

vince dementri
We’re all obsessed with what’s going to happen next with our Philadelphia anchorman. It’s only customary after the soap opera we’ve been put through with CBS3. NBC10 has still made no announcement about DeMentri, despite his not being on the air this week, as he has been scheduled to be. Hmm…

So I used some of the above words in another post, but not in that order. Don’t infer anything.

“chris stover” septa
This one scares me. Someone knows I intern at SEPTA. Many people do. But why would they search my name and SEPTA? Perhaps to see if I’ve written anything about them for TTN? Perhaps to see if I’ve already achieved a full-time position?

philly gossip
Not to steal anything from Dan Gross, but when “philly gossip” is typed into Google, this blog comes up eighth. Granted, most of my gossip (but not all) comes courtesy of Mr. Gross, but No. 8 isn’t that bad at all.

chris stover + print journalist
Maybe someone doesn’t like my video pieces for The Temple News, so they’re only looking for the written word. Pity. But, they’ll have to deal. After all, I’m a broadcast journalist in a newspaper world.

“zaleski” septa
I assume this is in reference to TTN’s fantastic former Temple Living editor Leigh Zaleski, who can be found here. This makes me reconsider searching my name and SEPTA — maybe someone really was looking for articles. But…for what?

From that fateful day LeAnne and I covered the shooting. May 12, 2008. Midnight to 3 a.m. What fun. (Though, I may not have too much room to talk. She was at the scene. I was not. But I wrote and made phone calls. That counts for something.)

Apparently, somewhere, when googling 6abc.com, my site comes up. Again, I’m flattered to be compared with such iconic Philadelphia media. It must be all those links I put to these sites.

I’m so glad I can help American society by providing them with useless yet mutually beneficial information that can help them send a letter to a loved one.
